Nah I’m okay but I’ve been in a stupid hazy no-drawing funk, so I haven’t really drawn much of anything in a while! IT’S SHITTY. I’m giving myself a kick in the pants— work starts again tomorrow or I give all of you full rights to send me angry messages.

I also just got a new computer cause this one’s about to kick the bucket once and for all, so there might be a little transition period with that while I get settled on it.

I don’t think I’ve heard much about Ethanael?

Ethanael’s an ooold character that I should probably rework, hahaha. (Check out that hairdo! ANIME AS SHIT)

He’s the same as Jibril in that he was ~incorporeal~, he and Seth and Dalila all became human at about the same time. He was physically a lot younger-looking than them though, so he appears to be around 5-7 years older than Senna. So he’s sorta older-brotherly in a way.

The forearm sleeve and the heart on his chest are for Sarah, the flames and the Nirvana face were ones he did himself (badly) when he was in high school (the flames he fixed up and added color to later when he was better at it). The the dragon on his leg was designed by his little brother Brendan.

Signups are now open for the September 23 issue, which is our annual special issue dedicated to showing off the works of the visual artists in the community.

The theme for this issue is DISTANT SHORES: far-off places and the fun of going (or not going) there.

Artists are of course welcome to both write and draw their own contributions. However, authors may volunteer to generate ideas, hack out dialogue, write/polish final scripts, and/or whatever else might be necessary in the story-creating process. If you’re a writer interested in a collaboration, leave a comment here detailing what things you’d be interested in doing, from spot-checking someone else’s written work to cutting an entire script from whole cloth. If you’re an artist looking for someone to whip up the text for you, look no further!
